Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, I write to you with great joy at the work of the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have had the privilege of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with six beautiful girls in Lincoln Heights as an intern in the ministry of DayBreak. Through this experience God has taught me so much, and used this opportunity to serve, to mold me more like my maker. God has planted so many seeds and initiated so many good conversations; it is hard to believe that the summer is over. But the need for the truth of Jesus among the people here at Lincoln Heights is not over, nor is the need for the body of Christ to reach out and share the love of God with these people. Working here has taught me that though appearances may reflect a sense of desolation and despair on the outside, everything is pure joy with Jesus. I invite you to continue to pray for this community, giving thanks to God for his provision of the perfect lamb to rescue each of us from our sin.
