It’s been a while since we have posted a blog, but that is not because we haven’t had anything to post. I guess we just got a little behind in our blogging.

DayBreak has had an amazing summer. In June, we added 6 summer interns to our staff, and they led a 5 week camp for kids in 1st – 5th grades.  The camp had two emphases – spiritual development and academic enrichment.  But, in addition, the kids enjoyed some time at the pool, water parks, museums and a final trip to Six Flags! The gospel was preached, relationships were built and minds were engaged.

Over the next few days, we will be posting blogs from the summer interns.  You can hear first hand what the Lord has been doing in Lincoln Heights this summer and in the hearts of all those involved with DayBreak!
