The mission of DayBreak is to impact Lincoln Heights with the message of Jesus Christ.  On Saturday, a partnership of several ministries came together to help accomplish that mission.  Two ministries from McLean Bible Church, Focus and Fuel, spent months planning for this outreach and showed up at DayBreak on Saturday morning with pancake batter, griddles, sausage and the Howard Ministries gospel choir!

Over 120 adults and children were served a great breakfast and a gospel concert.  In addition, Pastor Isaac Howard gave a short talk to present the gospel to the gathered crowd and encourage them through the Word of God.

An outreach like this helps us as a ministry reach beyond the children that attend our regular programs to impact the entire community of Lincoln Heights.  On Saturday, we laughed with the parents that we already know, met individuals we have never seen before, and put names with those faces we see in the neighborhood all the time.
