Sabrina
A couple of weeks ago at our parent prayer breakfast, I sat with Yolanda, Sabrina’s mom, and she told me how Sabrina has made a great start to school and is doing very well in reading and math. Yolanda attributed Sabrina’s successful school start to DayBreak intentionally creating a summer camp with a heavy emphasis on education.
Sabrina came to DayBreak for five weeks this summer and read for 30 minutes each day, played math games with her friends, and worked on fun, educational projects. Rather than falling behind over the summer, as many students tend to, she started school on track.
Join us in thanking God for working in Sabrina’s life through DayBreak. Now that school has started, Sabrina is part of our daily after school program and receives one-on-one tutoring from her volunteer tutor, Stephanie. Please pray that Sabrina would continue to grow in her knowledge of God and continue to do well in school.
