DayBreak Raps!

Recently, the McLean Bible Church Future Leaders “moved into” DayBreak for a few days to minister to the kids in our After School Program. One of the lessons they taught the kids while they were here was how they can use their gifts and talents to worship God. The future leaders helped the kids write poems to be performed in raps later on. Here’s a video of the finished products. Enjoy!

Thank You!!!

Thank you to all our prayer warriors and volunteers who helped make Beat the Streets a huge success! By God’s grace, we were able to give out about 200 pairs of tennis shoes along with the gospel.

The event was hosted by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and we partnered with Samaritan’s Feet to share the gospel and distribute shoes to the people of Lincoln Heights.

Your prayers were answered!  The event went smoothly, everyone stayed safe, and the gospel was shared! Please continue to pray for those who heard the gospel.  Thank you for your commitment to prayer.

Our volunteers were amazing! They sized the individuals, washed and dried their feet, then fitted them with a brand new pair of shoes while sharing the gospel with them.  Thank you so much for your time and sacrifice!

Below are some photos from the event. Enjoy!
