Prayer Requests

• Pray for the board of City Impact Inc who provides oversight for DayBreak. Pray that they have great wisdom in their leadership as they seek to strengthen DayBreak.
• Pray that God would provide the financial and volunteer resources needed to run the After School Program this fall. Pray that the students would be encouraged and strengthened academically, spiritually and physically through this program.
• Pray for Sarah Napier, former staff member at Daybreak, as she continues to battle cancer. Pray for strength and endurance for her family and friends who continue to support her throughout this journey.
• For the physical, emotional and spiritual health of all of the staff
• For the salvation of our children and their families

Praises

• DayBreak's six week summer camp was a success. This camp provided a safe place for students in 1st-5th grade students to learn more about Africa through guest speakers, field trips and group projects. Students' relationships with the Lord were strengthened and God was glorified!
• Over 700 people attended the Back to School Carnival on August 23rd, and 292 students purchased school supplies with the tickets they earned by playing games at the event.
• The Wednesday night cookout and Bible study has opened up a lot of new relationships with the adults in the community. God seems to be working amongst the team to open up doors for new ministry through it.
• The renovation project is complete and we are now functioning full time in our new space. We have also been blessed to be able to keep the apartment that we have been using as a temporary space and are planning to create a mini youth center there.
