We do this through our ministries:
Saturday VBS Outreach
DayBreak started in 2001 with the Saturday outreach. Currently we hold outreaches every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. They include drama, worship, bible lessons, crafts, games and more. This is a great way to get involved with DayBreak!

Special Events
We also host a few large community events each year which include Turkey Outreach, the Christmas Store, and the Back to School Carnival.

After School Program
In the fall of 2008, we will be opening a 5 day after school program for both elementary and middle/high school students. In the meantime, we have started a tutoring program where up to two students are paired with one tutor with the focus on increasing their reading skills. Tutoring sessions are:
Monday, 5:30pm-6:30pm: Elementary Students 1st-5th grade
Monday, 7pm-8pm: Middle/High School students, 6th-12th grade
Thursday, 5:30pm-6:30pm: Elementary Students 1st-5th grade
Thursday, 6:30pm-7:30pm: Middle/High School students, 6th-12th grade
A semester commitment is required. Volunteers will be paired with the same students for the minimum of a semester.

Mentoring Program
This program is based on a one-on-one relationship in which volunteers are teamed up with a child to encourage, edify, and equip them to handle the challenges of life in a Biblical manner. This involves serving in DayBreak on a consistent basis for a period of time, an application and interview process, and a minimum of a year commitment once placed with a child.
