After School Program

What is the After School Program?
Our daily After School Program provides an atmosphere where 30 1st through 5th grade students can learn and grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally through homework help, Bible study, hands-on learning activities, and focused reading time. In order to ensure that we provide quality programming for our students, consider joining us and making a difference in the life of a child and family.

After School Program Assistant | 3:30pm-6pm, Monday-Thursday (one day of your choice) | Whether supporting kids in their enrichment class, having fun playing a game with a child or helping to serve dinner, it’s always helpful to have extra hands available.

Enrichment Instructors | 4:30pm-5:30pm, Monday-Thursday (one day of your choice) | Bring your hobby or area of expertise to life for a group of 10-15 students! Teach an enrichment class one day a week for 6-8 weeks.

Homework Coach | 6pm-7pm, M-Th (one day of your choice) | Support 1-2 students in guiding them along in their homework. You do not have to be an expert in a subject matter. We will provide a “best practices” training so you have a few tools in your tool box, and you simply provide a willingness to support and encourage students academically.

Fun Friday: twice monthly, 5pm-8pm
Every other Friday is Fun Friday at DayBreak! Join us and enjoy trips to parks, ice skating, going to the movies, bowling, game days and more!
