What is the Tutoring Program?

Our tutoring program serves to provide much-needed one-on-one academic help to children in Lincoln Heights. Each tutor is paired with a student from our after school program (between grades 1-5) for the minimum of one semester. This is a great way to build relationships with the students and to have a huge impact on their lives for Christ!

When does it run?

Monday and Tuesday
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

What happens during a tutoring session?

Tutors will support students academically by following a detailed lesson plan created by our reading specialist.

What is the commitment?

We ask that volunteers commit to at least 1 day a week for the minimum of one semester (the 2 semesters run Sep-Dec & Jan-Jun).
