Girl, 13, Shot in Lincoln Heights

Many of you have been praying and asking for more information about the 13 year old girl that was shot in Lincoln Heights last week, and I am happy to report that she is going to be okay. She is still in an area hospital and her release is still unknown. The staff has already had a chance to visit with her once and are planning on visiting heragain tomorrow.

  • Pray for the board of City Impact Inc who provides oversight for DayBreak. Pray that they have great wisdom in their leadership as they seek to strengthen DayBreak.
  • Pray that God would provide the financial and volunteer resources needed to run the After School Program this fall. Pray that the students would be encouraged and strengthened academically, spiritually and physically through this program.
  • Pray for Sarah Napier, former staff member at Daybreak, as she continues to battle cancer. Pray for strength and endurance for her family and friends who continue to support her throughout this journey.
